WineCOW.com was created with a vision in
mind… Help educate and inspire people
to find a passion in wine for everyday enjoyment.
Wine, and I’m talking real wine –
not Boone’s Farm or wine coolers (although
fine beverages in their own right), has
often been thought of as an exclusive beverage
for the social elite or more mature generations.
Well, we at WineCOW.com are neither. But
still we hold just as strong an interest
in good wine as anyone – and so can
you. Wine is something to be drank, enjoyed,
collected, admired or experienced on all
levels of interest and age. No matter if
you are a huge collector or just a casual
drinker we hope to add to, or maybe even
help you start, your own passion for wine.
When starting WineCOW.com almost a year
ago we were pretty confident in our ability
to do one thing very well – drink
lots of wine. You might even say we had
an uncanny knack for it. Well, you’ll
be happy to know one year later that still
holds true. But now we try to supplement
that experience by offering you the opportunity
to become more familiar with wine through
approachable, easy to understand information.
From featured wines, wineries & growing
regions, to useful facts, articles and event
postings, WineCOW.com strives to provide
everything you need to know about wine and
the wine industry throughout the state of
Washington and beyond.
While we strive to appeal to the casual
wine drinker, we hope that anyone looking
to have fun with wine can find something
of interest on WineCOW.com. Our goal is
to inspire interest in wine, and more specifically
Washington wines, by creating a relaxed
environment to learn, taste and talk about
all things wine. That’s why we solemnly
swear to continue drinking more wine and
travel to more wineries and wine destinations
in order to provide you with an uncomplicated
and unpretentious resource for wine and
wine information. We will also work hard
to provide you with the opportunity to get
involved and try new wines through our Online
Wine Store, WOW Wine Club and Official WineCOW
Parties.
So come all ye WineCOWs and unite with your
red, white, and pink wines held high toasting
to a new generation of informed and un-intimidated
