IT'S
PARTY TIME ONCE AGAIN!
We have had an overwhelming
response from everyone looking forward to
the next official WineCOW party! So, after
an extended break, allowing us to recover
from the first two, WineCOW is bringing
the party to The
Tasting Room in downtown Seattle
on Saturday April 29, 2006 from 7p to 11p.
Another great night of jammin' music, exceptional
wine, food, and of course the official “COW”
posing for photo ops. We will also have
winemakers and Tasting Room founders Paul
Beveridge of Wilridge Cellars, and Robert
Goodfriend of Harlequin Cellars on hand
to mingle and hang with all of us WineCOWs.

NEW FEATURED WINERY
- WILLIS HALL
WineCOW took a trip up to Marysville, WA to meet
up with Willis Hall owner and winemaker John Bell.
This is a guy who risked it all to pursue his
passion in wine. We definitely think it was a
risk well taken, as his wines are fantastic! Good
enough in fact to have Seattle Magazine name John
Best New Winemaker. Even though this is just his
first commercial release John’s career in
wine started years ago after not being able to
understand a wine menu…”It read like
greek text.” After that John Bell made it
his mission in life to learn everything there
was to know about wine. And lucky for you that
passion spilled over into making wine as well.

REGION - ROLLIN’ WITH RATTLESNAKE HILLS
WineCOW recently made the trip out to Zillah,
Washington to discover what makes Washington’s
newest AVA unique from anywhere else. Follow along
with us and our guide Gail Puryear, owner and
winemaker of Boniar Winery, as we venture through
the vineyards, wineries, and wines of our State’s
9th official AVA. And learn why topography, weather
and soil aren’t the only defining factors
that make the Rattlesnake Hills experience so
valuable.
