EXPERIENCE THE NEW "WOW" WINE CLUB: SHIPPING THIS MONTH

The “WOW” (Wines of Washington) Wine Club has been updated! Our new format now offers two membership options, each focusing on the highest quality wine from around the state. Each month's shipment will include different selections from ONE premium Washington winery. Previously our deliveries featured multiple wineries, but in our continued efforts to educate and inspire people to get involved in the local wine industry we are now focusing on one premium Washington winery. By receiving multiple offerings from each producer our members are able to experience a more intimate understanding of the winery and its wines. All wines will be sent directly from each featured winery, along with tasting notes, a featured article on the winery, and additional inserts and information. All subsequent purchases go directly to the winery and winemakers, allowing individuals to create a relationship with the local industry. We feel that this new Wine Club format does a better job focusing on each Washington winery individually, and so providing a better overall “wine experience” for our wine club members.

A feature for Washington winemaker Rob Newsom, of Boudreaux Cellars, has been long overdue! Between visiting his winery in Leavenworth, helping with crush, and of course golfing with him at our annual Putt-n-Pour Wine Party, we have had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time with Rob, enjoying his sly wit and southern hospitality. So, it’s probably about time we got around to asking him the hard-hitting questions that would eventually become a featured winery article. Well, here it is. When we connected with Rob this month and he was more than willing to give us the real story behind one of Washington’s hottest new wineries.
